"I've decided what I want to be when I grow up. I want to be a book
designer like you, Mommy. Oh...by the way, you're gonna need a bigger
office if I'm gonna fit my desk in here..."
They see the word so simply, with such innocence and with great interest and humour. I've heard the cutest stories from friends about the hilarious things their children say, and its so precious! So when I had my girls, I began documenting these funny things. First with my eldest, and then with my youngest, Aila. Aila developed her sense of humour early. Very early.
Sometimes the things she says are pure innocence....and other times they are carefully crafted by her to evoke laughter from the hearer. They are just odd and wonderful... and we nicknamed them "Aila-isms"
At the prompting of a friend, I decided to keep track of them on this blog.
